Multi-chamber cold store under construction. Insulated panel walls erected, door frames set and openings formed ahead of refrigeration installation and commissioning.

Hinged cold room door frame fitted and sealed into the panel opening, with heavy-duty hinges and locking hardware set for a full thermal seal.

Air curtain mounted above a high-traffic cold room opening. Controlling infiltration at the door is one of the cheapest ways to protect temperature stability and cut running cost.

Evaporator drain routing and insulated suction lines through the panel ceiling. Correct drainage and trap detailing is what stops ice on the floor and water where it shouldn't be.

Air-cooled condensing unit on a purpose-fabricated galvanised support frame at the facility's external wall. Elevated mounting keeps the unit clear of ground-level heat and dust with full service access on all sides.

Suction and discharge reed valves inspected and renewed. Broken or leaking reeds are one of the most common causes of lost capacity — and a classic symptom of liquid slugging upstream.

Cylinder head & valve seat inspection
Head removed and gasket faces checked. Surface condition here decides whether the rebuild seals properly or leaks back within months.

Bearing housing & crankshaft access
End cover off and bearing housing exposed. Crankshaft, bearings and clearances are measured against OEM tolerances — not judged by eye.

Motor rewinding — in-house
Stator rewound with new copper windings and slot insulation. In-house motor work means a burnout doesn't automatically become a new compressor and a three-month lead time.

Rebuilt compressor, ready for test
Reassembled to OEM procedure with torque values observed and shaft seals renewed. Nothing leaves our workshop without pressure and run testing.
